Plan is a breath of fresh air
Work is under way on Breathe Residences, a new apartment development in Alderley.
There are 51 apartments across five levels and centred around a garden courtyard – designed to be the ‘lungs’ of the community.
A collaboration between locally based Capital Prudential, Geocal Group, Loucas Zahos Architects and GuavaLime, Breathe is 6km from Brisbane CBD and close to transport, shopping, schools, hospitals and Queensland University of Technology.
An official sod-turning event was held at the Lorne St. site last month Brisbane. Project marketer Position Property is managing sales, and the team was excited to see construction get under way.

Position Property principal Richard Lawrence said Breathe had been very well received by eager buyers in the local community, with one-bedroom apartments sold out and a selection of two and three bedroom apartments starting at $825,000.
“With the current Brisbane housing shortage and construction sector challenges, we believe the start of a significant project such as Breathe is a very positive story for the city,” he said.

Architect Con Zahos said the project embodied modern Australian design with a focus on liveability and sustainability.
